Right to connect to WinMX first open winmx it should connect automatically if 56k let it connect for you once it goes green you online with winmx you can go and search chat download.
But if your on DSL you can make a better connection by clicking on setting
then click on internet connection and make sure its on DSL
After that click on make primary connection and click connect
Well that it for connections.
